The transparency gap

Most research-use-only peptide COAs show one test: purity. Injectable-grade safety needs more.

Consumers see the word "COA" and assume "safe." But most certificates only show HPLC purity — while the panels that actually matter for injectable-grade material go untested and undisclosed.

What is Verifyd Index?+
A free tool that scans research-use-only peptide vendors and grades how transparent they are about their testing — what their certificates of analysis actually disclose, and how independently verifiable it is.
Do you sell peptides?+
No. We don't sell any product. Verifyd is a neutral transparency scanner — our only job is to make it easy to see what a vendor is, and isn't, willing to show you.
What does “transparency, not safety” mean?+
We grade what a vendor discloses and how verifiable it is — not whether a product is safe, effective, or of good quality. A low score means little was published or checkable, not that a product is unsafe.
Can a vendor pay for a better grade?+
Never. The grade is not for sale. A payment can cover a scan or a badge display license, but it can never change the outcome — and the score is identical regardless of which accredited lab did the testing.
How is the score calculated?+
Each vendor is scored 0–100 against one published standard, across five pillars: lab & COA quality, regulatory/claims compliance, accreditations, business legitimacy, and site & commerce signals.
What do the grades mean?+
Failed (0–49): little publicly disclosed or verifiable. Partial Transparency (50–84): discloses meaningfully, with real gaps. Verifyd Gold Standard (85–100): full-panel, accredited, and verifiable.
What does “research use only” mean?+
These materials are sold for laboratory research, not for human use. Verifyd provides transparency analysis for that context and does not endorse or facilitate the human use of research chemicals.
Can a vendor correct or dispute a scan?+
Yes. A vendor can claim its scorecard and submit a newer or fuller COA for a re-scan at any time. Every result is a point-in-time snapshot as of the report date.
