Verifyd grades one thing: how transparent a vendor is about its testing, and how independently verifiable that testing is. Every vendor is measured against the same published standard, the same way — the score can't be bought, and it's identical no matter which accredited lab did the work.
Each scan compares a vendor's published Certificate of Analysis (COA) against a single reference: the full panel of tests we believe should be the standard for injectable-grade research peptides. We then show exactly where a vendor meets that standard and where it falls short — as disclosed on the report date.

A vendor's Vendor Transparency Score is built from five weighted pillars. Lab & COA quality carries the most weight because verifiable testing is the whole point.
The heart of the score: which tests the COA actually discloses (purity, identity, content, and the injectable-safety panels), whether an independent, accredited lab ran them, and whether the report is batch-specific and verifiable at the source.
Clear research-use-only framing, the absence of unlawful medical or therapeutic claims, and appropriate oversight signals — for example, an IRB where a vendor claims to run human research.
Recognized laboratory accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025, A2LA / ILAC) and independent report-verification portals that let anyone confirm a COA wasn't altered.
A verifiable business identity, working policies (returns, privacy, terms), and real, reachable contact information.
Professional storefront signals: secure checkout, clear and consistent product information, and honest labeling.
Verifyd evaluates research-use-only (RUO) vendors — businesses that sell peptides and research chemicals as products, without a prescription. We do not grade licensed prescription, telehealth, or medical providers: they operate under a different regulatory framework, so a COA-transparency score would measure the wrong thing. When a site is a licensed medical provider, we mark it out of scope rather than assigning a grade.
Disclosure only counts if it's checkable. We give the most weight to testing performed by an independent, accredited lab, reported for a specific batch or lot, and confirmable at the source (for example, a lab's report-verification portal or a lot lookup). A polished PDF with no independent, batch-level backing is treated as a claim, not proof.
The grade is lab-agnostic and can't be bought. A vendor tested by any accredited lab scores identically; paying for a scan or a badge display license never changes the outcome. Verifyd may earn referral commissions when a vendor chooses an accredited lab to close a gap, and these relationships are disclosed. Verifyd's founder also operates a peptide brand (Vyrex Labs); that conflict is disclosed, and Vyrex is not scored on the same footing as vendors it competes with.
Every score is a point-in-time snapshot of publicly available information as of the report date. A vendor can claim its scorecard and submit a newer or fuller COA for a re-scan at any time. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.
